Uji Hikari Ceremonial Matcha Powder, Uji Kyoto (30g)

A first harvest ceremonial matcha from Uji, Kyoto, made from the hand-picked Uji Hikari cultivar. This is the tin to open when you want to whisk with water and sip slowly.

Deep umami, delicate floral notes and a refined sweetness that lingers long after the last sip. Best as usucha, or as koicha for a thicker, richer bowl.

How to prepare: Sift 2g (about 1 tsp) into a bowl, add 70ml of water at 80°C and whisk briskly in a W motion until a fine foam forms. For koicha, use 4g with 30ml of water and knead slowly.

Storage: Keep sealed in a cool, dark place. Refrigerate after opening and enjoy within 4 weeks.
